Another milestone for DuPont’s ArmorWall™ System: Panel joints treated with self-adhered flashing endure six-months under continuous hydrostatic pressure.

We optimized the ArmorWall™ system with ‘Whole System’ performance in mind. All components had to perform as well as the membrane itself – and they had to do so under extreme conditions. We focused on five primary attributes: 1) water resistance of the WRB/AWB coating; 2) adhesion of the WRB/AWB under immersion; 3) adhesion of liquid flashing and sealant under immersion; 4) low water absorption and surfactant release by all system components; and 5) adhesion of self-adhered flashing under immersion. The results exceeded even my expectations.

Great things can be achieved with the right thinking and performance goals.
